All our events and activities are volunteer run and we are grateful for all the individuals and organizations who assist us through a variety of capacities.

Below are some current volunteer opportunities and we also welcome you to contact us if you would like to get involved with the planning for any of our events or the would like to join the Festival Society.

 

Canada Day (July 1):

Parade Assistants: Assist the parade marshals in organizing the floats and participants in the holding area. Walk along route to ensure participants and spectators are safe. Direct floats at the end of the route for unloading and take down.

Site Decorators: Decorate site the morning of the event.

Activity Leaders: Set up and lead activities at the park. Monitor the bouncy castle, ensure craft supplies are stocked and available. Engage with guests to play games and do crafts.

Site Preparation: Set up tents, tables, chairs, signs, and any other equipment around the park the morning of the event.  

CornStock (August 12):

Site Preparation: Set up tents, tables, chairs, signs, and any other equipment around the park the morning of the event.  

Site Decorators: Decorate site the morning of the event.

Tear Down Crew: Take down tents, tables, chairs, signs, and any other equipment around the park starting at 7pm until the end of the event.

Activity Leaders: Set up and lead activities at the park. Monitor the bouncy castle, ensure craft supplies are stocked and available. Engage with guests to play games and do crafts.

Ongoing/Pre-Event Opportunities:

Poster/Flyer Distributors: Deliver and put up posters at notice boards, businesses, and tourist facilities in the area. 

Creative Crew: Create decorations and/or source ideas and resources that can be used to help enhance the environment of each event.
